Hilarious!

I love this series
This is by far my favorite of the 6 books I’ve read in this series. I was laughing out loud through most of the end. Rumple is definitely one of my favorite characters thus far. I’m also glad we finally get to learn more about Honor. Little was known prior to this book and it was a good breakaway from allamar.

Another creative retelling
it's King Midas meets the Lord of the Rings and the huntsman. I enjoyed this and it was great seeing some levels of vulnerability of the Matriarch Mother Eville... I also appreciated the comic relief of Rumpelstiltskin...hilarious!!

The Best
In series a lot of times as the series goes on the books get less and less enjoyable, not in this case. Out of the six books so far 5 and 6 have been the best and this one was my favorite. It's the first one where I enjoyed her parts alone just as much separate, as I did when the couple are together. I really loved we get to see some old friends again and there more in this one. One of my favorites is not a person but an unforgettable object. You will never see how Rhea wins the day coming. My only problem was a slight annoyance at a miscommunication but it didn't last long. I will be listening to this again. Jesse's male voices and accents are some of the best I've heard. Loved it.

Solid gold fun
Chanda has always made me laugh with her stories. But this one? I was downright chortling loudly quite often. I don't want to spoil the fun, so I won't give any details about my fave supporting character except to say "Sissy hands!!!". Once you find out who said that.... you will know.
