Hunt and Earl travel to Topeka searching for his missing man, Kelly Morrison, and is surprised at what he discovers.
Hunt hires mountain men to hunt for a cougar attacking livestock on the Percheron ranch. The cougar turns out to be craftier than most of the Hunters. After killing one, and putting three in the hospital Hunt decides to go after it himself and ends up on the blunt end of an attack.
