Young Wang has received plenty of wisdom from his beloved uncle: don’t take life too seriously, get out on the road when you can, and everyone gets just seven great loves in their life—so don’t blow it. Loved the humor and relatable characters.
Funny story is one of my favorite by. Emily Henry. Great characters and humor. Loved how Julia Whelan narrated the audiobook. Makes me want to visit Lake Michigan.

Sublime
There is only one problem with an Emily Henry book: it ends. Just when you are in your really happy place (sorry), it tugs on your last heart string and credits roll. Each new Henry book is my favorite, and this is no exception. I adore Miles, and his Grand Gesture may be the most original and heartfelt ever. Daphne is broken and delightful, and I loved her journey of self discovery. Just a perfect gem of a book that I wanted never to end. it goes without saying that narration by Julia Whelan is just icing on the cake. She IS the voice of Emily Henry books, and she is superb in interpreting them. Let the countdown begin to next year.

Absolutely Loved!!
This may be my new favorite! Narration is simply superb, as usual, and the story had me feeling all the feels. Would love to see this on the big screen.

Emily Henry and Julia Whelan are the power couple of books and audiobooks
This book is a masterpiece, as are all of Emily Henry’s books. Great story, new and funny. Great banter and analogies. Would recommend to literally anyone with good taste.

My favorite book
The real gem is the storyline. Is it just me or is this completely relatable and healing? This was a real story, an incredible story, and had me facing some realities and raw emotions myself I didn’t know I had. So well written I basically transformed into each character as if I was that person. Such a good perspective from the writer to have deep insight into life that it helped raise awareness into my own. Wondering if the author is secretly a self help guru
