This was a very entertaining story and I had a hard time not listening to it! Not to spoil it, but I can't believe it ended this way.......

Wow!

Full of angst. The listener can definitely feel the characters moods & emotions in this one.

Beautiful and Emotional

I loved this powerfully emotional, swoony story. The book really left me torn up and emotionally raw. So many ups and downs. The audiobook was beautifully narrated by the author. She really helped me connect to the story with her amazing storytelling!

Gutted in the best way.

The book gutted me and the audio even more. To hear the story in Robinnes’s beautiful voice and her great accents made my heart break over and over again. This is one of the best love stories highlighting ageism and the strength of woman. Every part of it is worth the journey.

Somewhat Disappointed ...

The story in its entirety was great! But...this is the first story that I’ve come across where the book’s author is African American and yet she writes a Caucasian love story. There were literally 2-3 characters that were of African descent...maybe. They were like extras in a movie, but this was a book. So the disappointment rates pretty high for me. I anticipated a black love story. I don’t think I will purchase any other books from her in the future.

Love the taboo age difference!

I love this book! The writing was so beautifully written. The fact that Robinne was the narrator brought the story to life! I felt all the things Solene felt! Robinne did beautiful writing and narration!! I’m in love with this book...I can’t say it enough!

This is not a story for everyone.

I have heard this book mentioned many times. It took me a while before I dove in. I will say that the book is good but it is not for everyone. When I read a romance book I want a happily ever after and the story to be closed and offer closure to the readers and I did not get that with this book. I really enjoyed the world wind relationship between Solene and Hayes. I loved how Hayes was an old soul. I wish there was a second part to close up the lose ends. The story makes sense and has a realistic storyline.

WOW-Best Book Ever.

Seriously, just stunned. I listened to it in 24 hours. Could not stop. What a story-- and the narration was awesome. Haven't added anything to my top ten list in years...this goes to the top five easily. If you like romance you should get it. I so hope there is a sequel.

AMAZING

I am absolutely in love with this book. I have not been able to find a book I can like half as much since finishing it - so I'm on my third round listening. Robinne Lee does a phenomenal job capturing all the emotion and taking you on every possible high and low through their relationship.
