Story
Hardcore Self Help: F**k Depression is the follow-up to the best-selling F**K Anxiety. In this book I take the information, tips, and insights that I have gained as a psychologist and translate them into language that doesn't suck. This is the self-help book for people who don't usually like self-help books. In Hardcore Self Help: F**K Depression, I talk to you like a friend. That means I speak directly to you, without psychobabble. Instead I tell you why your brain is such a troll.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Interesting perspective
If you could sum up Hardcore Self Help: F--k Anxiety in three words, what would they be?
Interesting story without much bulls**t, I think that more than 90% of people nowadays can relate, at least a bit, to this.
What did you like best about this story?
Narration, way of it is written, as I was listening an audiobook it was very easy and I finished it in 2 hours.
Any additional comments?
I think that price is a little high considering, but it is interesting to read it anyways :)

Short, blunt and real
Love this book! It was short, blunt and REAL. Easy to relate to and understand. Other books I’ve read make you feel sorry for yourself. This book didn’t. It made me feel like I wasn’t alone and what I feel every day isn’t dumb or has to control my life. I got some great insight and will continue to work on myself. So thank you Duff!

Great overview
For a short read, this book offered a great overview of anxiety and it's disorders. I liked that Duff gave you some specific techniques to try to combat your anxiety. I have GAD with panic attacks and I'm an HSP and the biggest takeaway for me was the idea to give my anxiety a name. I, for sure, will be trying that technique for myself. Thank you and I hope to read more in the series.
