Publisher's summary

From number one New York Times best-selling author of Melissa de la Cruz comes a love story about missed connections and second chances.

Straitlaced Evelyn and reformed bad boy Marco might make an unlikely pair, but the two lovebirds couldn’t be more head over heels for each other. Sure, they’ve had some missed calls along the way, but all that’s in the past. They’ve got their sights set on forever, and the next stop is a walk down the aisle in front of their friends and family. It’s the big day, and everyone’s gathered to watch Marco and Evelyn say "I do". Everyone except Evelyn that is. Is the bride running late or running? With happily ever after on the line, the surprising answer might just be in their voicemails—too bad they never listen to them.

Totally Not What I Expected In A Good Way

Omg, just like another review they had me at the 1st VM. I never thought of a book based wholly on VM conversations. Yes, it was different, but in a good way. This story was performed by a great cast, and it was absolutely romantic. It is short, and I could have listened to more, but the way they ended it was perfect. Evie and Cam gets 5 stars from me due to originality of this performance. ✨️ 💖

great morale

the big had a great overall feel to it. I think what's covered happens more often than people care to admit. I really wish they didn't play the play back message every time. got kind of annoying.

Name

I know this is petty but the description talks about Evelyn and Marco. The character’s name was Cam.

Real and Relatable Love Story

Most books and movies skim over the real moments of love stories. When we look at our own lives there's little comparison. This story is different in so many ways, starting with the format and including the bumps in the road to love.

This is a fun, lighthearted listen. It's a great book to listen to in small bites, when you don't have enough time for something that requires all your attention, on a lunch break for example. It's fun. Enjoy!

Entertaining short story

This kept me entertained while on a long road trip. I loved the main voice actress but was not a huge fan of the main voice actor - he was great I just felt he didn’t match the character

Cute and Quirky

Short story but full of emotions from laughter to sadness and back again. Very relatable in the relationship department.
