Taking on a daunting new job minus the description isn’t the smartest move I’ve ever made, even if it was to save a friend. Hopefully, it doesn’t turn out to be the stupidest...or deadliest.
Why can’t things stay the way they were? I love my old job. Supergluing ghosts back together and solving their issues is its own reward. Not to mention, I’m seriously good at it. Although, I must say, I’m ridiculously excited for the new Death Counselor’s arrival in nine months....
Adding to my problems, there are four new angels in town who are riding my butt and judging every move I make. Literally. Who knew destroying one Immortal could cause me so much trouble? If I’m found guilty, I’ll be pushing up daisies.
Luckily, my nutty friends have my back and the Grim Reaper has my heart. What could possibly go wrong?
Nothing is impossible. I am living proof. Let’s just hope I live to prove it.

Five books into this series and they keep getting better!!

Awesome Listen!
My favorite in the series so far. I loved the ending. And since each book in the series ends with a cliffhanger that's saying a lot.
Quirky characters, lots if laughs, and lots of twists and turns to keep on the edge of your seat.

Great Series
Love this series. Very engaging, emotional at times. Quite humorous and love the southern hospitality throughout. Very good character development (you feel like you are part of the family). The heroine in this series is very strong and is a good believer in Good trumps Evil. Have been enjoying the zombies-like ghosts, and all the angels both old and newer to the story. Storyline full of twists and roller coaster rides. Happy that this book does not have a huge cliffhanger at its end as most of the previous books have had. Narrator has done a great job throughout this series. Glad they have not changed narrators and kept the same one throughout. (I do have to say my first impression of this narrator was abrasive to me but by the end of the first book I like her and understood her). Now… on to the next book!
