Dead or alive?
Not a hard question, and pretty easy to figure out either way. Usually.
Except I've somehow woken up in a place called Hell, and I'm not entirely sure I died first. I thought it was a practical joke. Until a warrior woman tried to kill me and I rescued an elf and a succubus from slavers.
Turns out, this Hell is being terrorized by an evil king, and he’s hell-bent on bringing all of Hell under his dominion. He also happens to control the portal back to our world, which I very much want to use.
So here I am, preparing for battle against an army of 10,000 wraiths, Hellhounds, and sorcerers. If we win, Hell might be changed forever. But the chances of that are achingly slim.

Dark Story, Terrible Narrator
I received a free copy for an honest review, full disclosure.
Couldn't get past listening to what sounded very much like Yogi the Bear as the male narrator. I kept waiting for him to say "Hey BooBoo!" and start talking about pickanick baskets :) Seriously, he annoyed me so much, I couldn't get immersed in the story.
While there are parts of the story I liked, this "dark harem" as some other reviewers call it, is not my cup of tea. Your mileage may vary.
Overall, decent series, if you like the not so nice MCs in a not so nice world.

Perfect for binge listening
It’s nice that it’s all in one now because it’s nice to continually listen one book to the next and this is one fantastic story that’s worth the time to hear it

Great book!
I have listened to other book narrated by the male before, but for this series, he struck a cadence and tone that took some time to get used to. All in all, good tho.

A very good story but what a voice disaster for the male voices
This was a very good if not excellent story but the male protagonist voice made it a lot less enjoyable. The accent was making you cringe every time you heard his voice and announciation.

Wtf!
The story is interesting, good even. But why does the narrator sound like hunter s thompson? Or Johnny depps version of him ! Dude! I can hear him either talking through his teeth or he has a cigar holder in his mouth! Wtf!

great read
A great complete series from Jack Porter. If you like Jax books then you'll love this one. You get the complete series for one credit. You wake up in hell and try to fight your way out. You have to kill the evil wreith King. And you have help with beautiful women at your side. This is a 17 plus book. Be forewarn that there are adult situations. The narration is awesome. 24 hours for one credit is a great deal.

That was a fun ride. Narration was great and they really helped bring life to the characters. It's was nice to see an MC have to deal with consequences for there power in such a way and it made for a much better story.
