Amazing content, needs more examples

This book was simply amazing! Everything was well researched, the advice was excellent, and even the narrator spoke with confidence!

However, I wish this book included more stories and examples of anything mentioned in the book, as I often felt like I was overwhelmed with information, not knowing where or how to apply it. I also wish that the author would explain the science behind why the advice in this book works.

Is it worth the buy? Yes, absolutely!

Interesting and full of useful information

I wasnt sure what to expect from this audible but it was full of useful information that I could use straightaway. If you want to learn about negotiating then give this audible a go! Great skills to learn and it will certainly supercharge your business and life.

Where has this book been my entire life?

I cannot believe how comprehensive this book is. Written in a very accessible way for those who don’t necessarily have tons of business experience, I found myself constantly thinking how my life might be different right now had I known all of the negotiating skills and strategies touched on in this book. A truly fascinating and compelling listen. I especially appreciated the chapter that dealt with empathy and ethics in negotiation and never considered emotional vs rational empathy and how one hurts and the other actually helps and is necessary. So much useful info here not just for those doing business but honestly just life. Learning how to say no without creating adversaries, that advice is gold. Recommend.

Amazing book to learn negotiation skills!

Knowing how to negotiate the right way is a key factor for any business person. The author did a great job detailing exactly what to do to be successful in negotiating.
What I enjoyed the most was the advice on managing people and learning how to work with others to get what I want.

Winning the Negotiation vs. The of the Deal

Though the methods and lessons are not new it definitely presented and articulated in a modern way. However there are some ingenious negotiation strategies for the right methods that you can apply. Also love the 10 tips and the do's and don'ts as well as some people skills to influence people. The lessons and methods will definitely give you some leverage on the competition for your business.

Well researched

This audiobook does a fantastic job of outlining just what is necessary for fruitful negotiations, including when a negotiator should walk away. The author includes case studies to help the reader comprehend the topic better. What to do and what not to do for effective negotiations are also covered so that business owners can feel secure in their choices at every stage of the process. The author conducted thorough research into the subject. It's an excellent audiobook for business owners because it's simple to understand.

Great skills to build confidence

What a great way to build much-needed skills. I especially appreciated the chapter that dealt with empathy and ethics in negotiation. I never considered emotional vs. rational empathy and how one hurts, and the other helps and is necessary.This book opened my eyes to things I was doing wrong and other things I didn’t even think to do right. If you want to learn about negotiating, listen to this audible. I would highly recommend this for someone just starting their business. A skill you need!

I wish I had listened to this 20 years ago. Negotiation is a skill that needs to be learned, and they don't teach it in school. The author has done a great job of providing valuable in-depth content on the art of negotiating. My favorite section was on how you can get the upper hand. I have already started using some of the techniques. The narrator also has a great voice for the material! - a joy to listen to.

I found "Winning the Negotiation" to be an incredibly valuable resource.
