Great action scenes
The concept wasn't terribly new, but the world and main characters were painted out thouroughly and wonderfully. Someone rated the male reader as not very good, but I'd disagree, in my opinion it's the older lady reading only quotes who's got a strange voice and isn't very pleasant to listen to. However, nothing terrible though, so it doesn't ruin the experience at all. A pleasant 2-book series that are fairly long and full of suspense!

Perfect! Just perfect!
Karissa Vacker can read ALL my books from now on! Her male voices are absolutely perfect!
James Patrick Cronin was good, however he only had one accent for everyone. So it was a bit jarring going from Karissa to him and figuring out who was who.
As for the story… it was just perfect!

Great spin off
I just finished this one, the author and the narrators really did an amazing job on this story as well. The author is great at her plot twists, which I like. I’m usually able to guess what might happen. This story kept me on edge just like the first. Without giving anything away, I did not give it 4 stars because there was one part I was hoping would be in the story but it wasn’t. It really is still an amazing story, but I don’t think she made a third book.

I don’t even have words
I didn’t like how slow the beginning was because I DNFed it for like a month in a half then I listened to the audio book and it was really good half way through and on you just have to get past like chapter 20 or so
