What she said..

It was okay but it wasn't a traditional Bob and Nicki tale.. Wasn't ready for the short story nature of this addition. I understand filling out the support crews but feel branching off would have been a better choice.. I like my B & N pure, simple and enjoyable.

A most enjoyable read!

Jerry Boyd breaks away from his standard novel with a changed format of three adventures. Having two narrators other than Bob gives a different and interesting perspective to the tales while keeping the humor Jerry Boyd’s readers expect.

1. Topper finally locates and rescues Zelda, the bot he has been seeking for years.
2. There is another segment of Joshua Finni and Lakki Witti’s adventure to find the “true” squirrels.
3. Find out what Dingus is up to!

The last chapter

Why did Dee give the people the drive flash tech I thought that was the whole point of not giving it to the patrol

Three stories in one

Three different stories of three different captains. Listening to how Capt Sloan spends his days on a mission is very entertaining. I love the way these stories came about. More please!

Short stories

Be aware this title consists of 3 short stories rather than a complete Bob and Nikki tale. The first story was very good although not as involved as normal and ended rather abruptly.
The other 2 stories told from POV of Joshua and Dingus respectively were meh, felt like mostly random thoughts.
Chris Ciulla did his usual awesome job of fleshing out the characters

that this wasn't Bob and Nikki

I didn't like the diversion to other characters. it looks like there's very little of bob nikki and the bots here. fyi it's 3 short stories.
I'm trying but I could care less about these people. you, know, if you're selling pizza and all your customers love it and come to your place for pizza and then you start selling burgers you're gonna lose your business.
