Historical history at its best!
Sara Donati is one of my all time favorite authors.
This one seem a bit slow to start but quickly took flame. Her characters are woven together so completely. I can without reservation recommend every single book in her repertoire.

This was a great journey
I was immersed in the book from the very beginning. The details are very thought out and it gives you an understanding of a different culture.
I love the building of the relationship of the two main characters and I hope this is just the beginning of a series.
Sara Donati is by far one of my favorite authors and never disappoints!

It's an emotional journey
I love this author. Her heroine characters are so detailed and authentic, I feel that I know them as real people. It's okay that I had to wait years for this next part of the Bonner family history. Well worth the wait. Thank you Rosina. The narration is flawless. Kate Reading is a truly gifted actress.

Another Fabulous Story
Donati did it again. Love all her books. Not sure how many times I have read them. Always makes you feel like you are catching up with an old friend. Hope she will keep the hits coming. Performance couldn’t have been any better! What a team they make!
