can't wait for book 2!!
I love this book and the audio did not disappoint! I just got lasik and have not been able to physically read due to light sensitivity. I have been forced to remain in the darkness waiting for my eyes to heal. This audible has been goddess sent. It has cured my boredom in these recovery days. The only downside is that I am out of book to read and must wait for book 2.

This book is seriously amazing! The authors way of writing is so imaginative and creates a beautiful picture in your head. I can’t wait for the rest of the series! The narration was also very nice, didn’t have any annoying voices for characters.

I loved it!
I really enjoyed this story, it isn't often that epic fantasy tropes are turned on their head in favor of female characters so successfully. I loved the matriarchal religion, the frank self assured confidence of our heroines, and the deep seething rage they carry at the injustices and trauma forced upon them. The author's background in folklore shines through with interesting magic creatures and nuanced fey lore. I look forward to the next audiobook coming out

Loved it
Found Piper on Instagram and she mentioned in a story that her books could be found on Audible. So glad that I did. I used to devour fantasy books as a kid but grew out of it as an adult; it’s been so fun getting back into the fantasy realm. Excited to listen to the next book.
