Small town romcom at its best!

Lucy Score has quickly become my “go to” author for anything and everything romcom. Her writing style is captivating, her stories are sweet, funny, steamy and have all the feels!
This second chance love story of Jax and Joey was such a great read I could not put it down and read it in one sitting! And now I’ve listened to newly released audio in one afternoon. The narration by Pippa Jayne is phenomenal! Definitely recommend.

I appreciate the Livy Score ability to build a whole world around her characters. Makes you feel like you are stepping out of yours and into their. I hate plot holes in between the different books in a series. She must be a very meticulous woman because I have not caught any. It is easy to go from book one to three and not question things that don’t match up.

Enjoyable and clever

Even though you know, books like this, and, the way they got there was a little bit unusual. Jack left the love of his life and you don’t find out until later how or why.

Beautiful

The work up leading to Jax and Joey's story in the first two stories of this series did not disappoint. Their story where love transcends time, broken hearts and lives are pulled back together by a man who refused to give up on the love of his life and the years of heartache getting back to her and over coming the stubborn men who thought they knew best. Their smoking hot union was off the charts. Having the Peirce Brothers and their lives all still a big part of this story brought it all together. The Dog Rescue adoption was hilarious along with poor Jax witnessing Carter and Summer in the kitchen and his Mom and Franklin was a riot too. Thank you Lucy and Pippa Jayne for bringing this story to life. Can't wait till the rest of the series is ready on audible. Reading the series is good too been there done that but ready to listen to them all.

Felt book dragged a bit, took awhile to get into the story because of the narrator. Did love the story and the arcs.
