Publisher's summary

Her town is going broke. He plans to build a new hotel. It should be a perfect match.

Geneva is relieved to be back in her tiny Florida hometown after her budding political career in the state capital and her romance with a big-city guy come to an end. She’s content to hold a seat on the local council until the mayor flees in the middle of the night, and the job of fending off bankruptcy falls in her lap.

Pittsburgh-born Seth arrives in Calusa with architectural plans in his polished briefcase. His family firm already owns a prime piece of land, and he can hang with his college buddy while the building is erected. But what should be a slam dunk faces opposition from the quirky residents.

Geneva is willing to partner with Seth to find a solution. What she won’t do is risk her heart.

The Lady Is a Mayor is the first book in the Calusa Town Tales series. If you love clean romances filled with southern charm, you’ll love The Lady Is a Mayor.

Sweet Fun Story!

Geneva Price, council member, is thrust into the position of Acting Mayor of Calusa Florida. Great combination of quirky, heartwarming characters and unique twists with a delightful touch of romance. Enjoy!

I received an audio copy as a gift and am happy to leave my honest review. The narrator did an excellent job.

Great listen

This was a very entertaining story! The narration was great! It is set in a small town which I love because I am from a small town. Everyone knowing everyone’s business is par for the course. It was a sweet story of a man and woman coming together to accomplish something for the town which is slowly dying. The mayor they all think ran away with the towns money. That was not the case but you will have to read the story or listen to it to find out what happened. I loved it.

I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

disappointing

A simple read, not even interesting, I'm sorry to say.
It's very short and a few times, the story jumps over weeks, to pass the time - maybe to validify the (very) quick falling in love.
The narration was okay but had some "live" corrections.
I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
