A must read for fans of the Air Awakens series
Before reading this you should read the Air Awakens series, the Golden Guard Trilogy and the previous Vortex Chronicles books.
With each new Elise Kova book I read she blows my mind even more. The story she has weaved about the Solaris family has a depth that makes these books fascinating to read and impossible to put down,

So Much Oh...
I am blown away again by the awesomeness that is Ms. Kova!! She has layered so many details into this series as well as Air Awakens that seeing things come together just really touches your heart. The sacrifices are truly massive and such a heavy presence but it's all so worth it because this is a series that you'll never forget!! The narrator did a superb job!

Amazing Author and Amazing book!
This series deserves a 6 out of 5 honestly. I cannot say enough positive things about it. Elise Kova is an incredible writer, and I truly recommend anything you can get your hands on by her. The story flows so effortlessly, and although this is the fourth book is the series, it's never dull or lifeless. The characters, especially Vi iand Taavin, are incredible, and written so well that you can almost imagine you're there with them. I really enjoyed this story, and the development that occurs. Absolutely a must listen!

Oh goodness be ready for a cliffhanger. Such an interesting read. I loved the backstory that was given along with how it grew the character. As always Elise Kova wrote a thrilling book I couldn’t put down. Definitely recommend either book or audio book as the narrator has just gotten better as the series progressed.

This book pulled me in so many different directions. I too wanted Vi to change certain lives but understood in the back of my mind it wouldn't work no matter what. But I broke with her. The feelings Elise writes is so real, I feel that's how I would feel too! I'm so happy that she's figuring a new path out, can't wait for next book!!

I truly feel sorry for our heroine. Nothing ever goes her way. All the twists of fate. It is a good story. Keeps you on your toes. Best to listen to the other book series first though.

Golden guard then this series.
Although you could listen to golden guard first. That would be ok.
