Wow
Stumbled on to this series and was sucked into the entire world created by these authors. They managed to create scenes that accurately portray an event without being excessively bloody or gory.
Some how this book seems more gruesome and troubling than the others, maybe because I identified with one character more than in previous books, maybe it was the nature of the events.
I know war is brutal but wow…This story was almost too much for me.

Worth the wait. Went through it too fast
I’ve been dying for this to come out and pre ordered. The Dempsey series and this are my favorites in the genre. Well maybe second to The James Reese series. Anyway I will read anything they put out. They should put some Dempsey in SOV

Man, this series is tier 1! Tip of the spear! 🔱
Real sh%t! Watts is a badass! A killer through & through! 5 stars for a total of 15 stars!
The writers have Golden pens! Can't put down series of the highest form! I can't say enough really bravozuluboys as Chunk would say! Chunk is one of my favorite characters! Up there with Rapp, Harvath, Reacher, Clark & Ryan! Like I said if you know ya know!
Only bad thing I can say to be fair... Not long enough 30 hours would not be enough! I hope this is not the end!
