Cliffhanger

I really hate cliffhangers. It took me until the last of the book to get into it, then it ended and left me hanging. I feel like I was cheated and they want you to get sucked in and spend money for more. My last Ivy buy. Elizabeth Hart was a great narrator.

awesome story and narration kept me on the sesay of my chair.. can't walt to listen to book 2...

Only the story was good

I couldn’t get over the narrator’s pronunciation of “vigilante” and the way her voice sounded like she sucked helium for the men’s parts. It was hard to listen to but the story itself was good. I’d rather had read the book.

Intricate story twists

The plot continues to pop out unexpected twists and is compelling; just when you think everyone has been unmasked, you find another. But it is a typical romance, with all the unbelievable angst possible and a smart woman making too many stupid mistakes against an evil villains. The tone is almost entirely of a woman on the edge of breakdown, although she does have a good reason for her fears. I am interested in following the story but I skipped about half of the last hour; I don’t think I can listen to the hysteria again.

Exciting emotional series

The made of Steel Series so well writen in a way you feel each persons emotions. It makes you flash to your own life. Reminds you how special young love is, How much family means and loyal friendships. It makes you happy to have a safe home and to never give up. Ivy Smoak by far can bring books alive and captivate!

OMG LOVED THIS!!

I've never hated a cliffhanger more than at the end of THIS book 😑 and only because I'm broke 😖 but as soon as I can, I'm getting the rest of the series. Oh yes, it will be mine 😈🤣 If you enjoy suspense, danger, mystery and some serious pining then you'll love this!

Read it!!!!

I started listening to this audiobook after finishing the Hunter series and it’s sequel. The third book of the sequel isn’t on audiobook yet which is crazy because it ended in a cliffhanger.

So, I decided to read the vigilante series. This book has nothing to do with the Hunter series with the exception of it being in the same city and James Hunter gets a shout out.

There are a few twists in the book and another love triangle. The girl protagonist is likable and so is her best friend. You also end up liking the three men that’s in her life which makes it hard to root for just one of them. There’s a lot of unanswered questions which I’m hoping will be answered in the next books.

Elizabeth Hart did a pretty good job with her performance, but I didn’t really care for the voices she used for the men. They all sounded the same and it was really gravelly. It was hard to picture these “hot, strong” men with the voices that she uses for them. It almost drove me crazy to the point where I didn’t want to listen anymore, but Ivy’s books are so good that I will bear through it. 😊

I did struggle to finished got mad cuz she was hot cold and yes or not.... but it's those books that you just want to know the end.. and yes I'm going to get the next book just to know what happen

I listened to this #audiobook & it was excellent! Loved it. I can't wait to get to the next book. Poor Sadie is having a hard time. 😭
