Publisher's summary

Meet Trent Bailey, who is fighting for the right to continue his stellar professional football career after enduring striking legal woes in the recent past. Trent cannot and will not blow his second chance for anyone; after all, this is the blessing he's been praying for. After receiving confirmation that staying focused is all he needs, it's what he aims to do. No distractions. That's until he bumps into two unexpected overnight guests.

Jade Matthews is doing everything she can for herself and her young son, Kyree. After journeying through her own bumps in the road, she's finally getting it together. She's doing what she has to do to make sure her family of two stays afloat. Life's setbacks won't stop Jade from providing for her little one, even though she fumbles each pass thrown at her.

What starts out as a temporary favor turns into rapid passion. There's one agenda here, but getting to the same meeting point has never been more difficult. Fighting their way through trust and self-esteem issues, the two must meet in the right zone; the red zone, where you may think you're safe, but life has a way of intercepting blessings and . . . turning the tide.

Contains mature themes.

Looooove Trent & Jade….Love this story….Love’s pen is wicked! Winston is phenomenal as always with his narration and voicing Trent….BUT, that female narrator wasn’t it! Winston saved my story

Love Belvin is the GOAT.

I originally read this book after exhausting all my LB options on audio. Yes, this woman made me an actual reader again because I simply could not get enough. This book was a bit different than her regular style in the fact that she built them up in the one book vs the serials.
getting to it....
I love me some TB.... Jade on the other hand, not so much. I don't like how she won at failing! she left her upper middle class house to be a hood rat and teenage baby momma, pinning her life on a dope boy, failed at that and then won by finding a professional athlete to pin her life on. She forced herself on him when he was just being a good guy helping her out. I aint saying she's a gold digger. but.... Not only that she then decides (after putting on a facade that she wants to do something with her life for herself) she just wants to be a homemaker and not go to work. She is a, manipulative liar.

**And this grievance is me being petty-- I can't stand when a man is more than 10 inches taller than his partner. it's just a waste of height and man for a 6'5" fide to be with a 5' woman.

Now I understand that Trent needs someone in his life that goes hard for him, and That's part of Jades personality, or whatever.

I'll see if I like Jade, when End zone comes to audio. I originally skipped rhat one because, Jade.

now the narration. Winston is always a solid choice. I'm pretty sure he pronounced Ragee's name wrong. that irked me.
the female narration was weird. that's all.

But overall the writing is masterful and emotion producing, I'm happy to be apart of Trents journey.

Female Narrator 😒👎🤔

Winston James still hitting them out the ballpark love his voice hands down. Now the female narrator where did y'all find her. She's awful like terrible, the mispronunciation of words, she did not read well at all. Her voice didn't pair well with Winston James's voice. Do y'all listen to the audio version before it's put out? I really would like to know, because there's no way that y'all can listen to this and not realize that it's not a quality product. I hate to give Winston James of three but I can't give five stars because of the female narrator.

Jade is such a Jersey girl

Loved the story line. I agree with the other comments about the female narrator however I was able to listen beyond it so it wasn’t horrible.
When I say Jade is a Jersey girl! A little hot head don’t mater how bougie she is. We want all the smoke lol!!

Trent & Jade

I believe this was my first Love Belvin story & first intro to Pastor ☺️

Trent and Jade story is filled with everything found family, 2nd chances, healing and redemption, blended family. Several characters from other story pop in. I can’t wait for part II to come to audio.

Jade Jade Jade

So happy to have another LB novel available in audio but I forgot how exhausting Jade was. Lol. That girl and her insecurities. But I understand. TB is a big deal. But the female narrator didn’t help. She had no flow with her performance. It felt as if she was just reading raw and not necessarily performing. Winston earned his half of the performance stars.

No thanks to female narrator!

I love me some Trent and Jade one of my favorite books by LB Winston was great per usual, but the female narrator just didn’t do Jade justice. She also made Trent sound beyond corny when reading his parts.

Trent & Jade

I was so happy when this story made it to Audible. I loved this story and listened to it within two days. I always get mad at myself for not waiting for the full series to release. I want more!!! My only qualm was the female narrator. I believe Trent and Ezra Carmichael need stronger depictions of their personalities. Waiting patiently for the next book. ♥️

Love Jade & Trent!

I’ve read most of Love Belvin books and she’s wicked with her Pen! I always look forward to the audio versions of her books but sadly I couldn’t finish this book. The female narrator voice didn’t match the Jade that I’ve grown to love. She sounded too old to be Jade and had no spice in her delivery. Winston was amazing as always but he couldn’t save the audio story for me. I’m sad because I’m sure this narrator will record the entire series🥹
