Publisher's summary

He saved me from war. Fed me when I was in too much pain to eat. Smuggled me and my family into America when it became too dangerous to stay. But, Nico didn't flee with us.

While I began elementary school in the United States, he was building the greatest and toughest Mafia of the century. The Mafia Shqiptare.

Nico is now king of all underground trades. Sexy. Aggressive. Brilliant.

After years of nothing but silence, he's back in my life, ready to do whatever it takes to bring me into his universe.

He isn't leaving until he takes me with him.

Contains mature themes.

Light my Fire

Story was entertaining, like some other readers, a dual point of view would have been a great asset.

Story needs a male narrator…

Nike is so virile big and strong! The MMC definitely needs a male character. I’m happy the story was well written because the ONE sex scene between the main characters in last 85 % of book is so BORING.

A very good book but

I would just like to know why in the world do (Arthur's) make the leading lady in most of their novels to look and act so stupid. When most of us know she not weak or ignorant. We all know she really needs to make sure he is hold (accountable) for the things he has does or said and then the leading lady starts to crumble under his words. So please just show how strong the leading lady really is and hold him accountable for the things he says and does. I just can't believe how some people don't care to betray a woman with strength instead of a coward. So please in the future try to show the readers that this leading Lady isn't a pushover.

But overall is a good book but it would be nice to see her stand behind her principles instead of giving in to him every time just because of their looks.

(That's not a pretty picture for the leading lady).

Wowsers!

This story was so good to listen to. The FMC upset me more than not and was so irritating to me at times to where it made me not want her to get the guy in the end. Yup! That bad, but I give 4 stars because it was a really good story and Nico! I feel bad for our rock star though, she was so ugh to him! Good story though!

Pretty good…

This was pretty good. It isn’t a sweeping epic of a mafia love story, but it passes for decent entertainment.

So cliche it’s almost laughable

Good thing it was free or I would not be very happy.
The author uses every college age cliche and then adds in rock band stuff in the middle of a “mafia” romance novel.
Make up your mind and stick with one trope.
It would have been interesting to read about a different ethnic organized crime group. But no real difference made in this book and the mafia part was pretty shallow.
The heroines reactions to things were awkward and inconsistent.
Overall I say if you’re really bored, like stuck on a desert island level bored, give it a listen. If nothing else it’s good for several eye rolls 🙄
Narration was good.

A DISAPPOINTING MAFIA-LITE LISTEN

This was a disappointing listen for me because I was expecting dark.. gritty.. an alpha anti-hero.. danger.. sizzling chemistry.. excitement.. suspense.. etc etc etc but this listen, told entirely from the heroine’s POV, was just meh nothing special here. She was 10 when he saves her - he was 18.. she loved him then and ten years later he claims his woman. I didn’t feel the chemistry.. I didn’t get the ‘danger vibe’ from him.. I thought the plot was slow, bland, unexciting and had inconsistencies. If you’re looking for a good meaty Mafia bad-boy possessive story, perhaps look elsewhere.

Worth a credit? For me, sorry but it’s a no.. however, please remember this is just my opinion.

Bland

Nothing much ever happens. Boy meets girl, will they fall in love? Never indoubt.
Don't waste your time.

Nico & Elira

A wild, crazy and intense journey to go on with Nico and Elira. I did not hate this story but at the same time I did not love it.
