Dante is Worth a Credit

I wasn't sure about this story from the intro bc whew their father is a true b*stard, but I'm here for Dante and Kat. I'm new to the genre but after reading Killian where the lines of consent were blurred and was more intense than this to Giovanni which had ZERO consent, this book is different.

Katarina aka Kat is a nurse turned late night office cleaner hiding from her traumatic past when her brother blows into town to crash on her couch and steal her sh*t (you know like family will do 😒) before bailing just as quickly to avoid being responsible for a debt he owes to the mafia. Dante's mafia. So, when Dante and his enforcer Maximo come to collect they only find a woman not willing to go without a fight.

Dante should have killed his father years ago, but you know tradition and consequences has made that difficult. With his older brother Lorenzo alienated from the family for marrying a woman his father didn't approve of, Dante begrudgedly became head of the family. A sensitive, compassionate, man by nature Dante has turned ruthless to survive his family and earn his sperm donors approval. Once he realizes he will never truly have the later he becomes more of his own man. But still Kat sparks instant attraction in him that he fights against even as it develops into love for both of them. Then, of course, there's the baby.

Narrators are absolutely amazing! Tor is the new love of my Audible life🥰. I'm invested enough for the rest of the series for sure.

Loved this book so much. The story was amazing, the narrators, suspense and romance. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Loved just about everything about this book🎧especially the narration was on point❣️Tor Thom’s voice💋is HAF and Elena Wolfe was good but I wished someone younger sounding was chosen like Brooke Daniels. I’m very picking when it comes to narration that’s what sells the story to us the listeners in this venue. ⚠️I feel I should say something about the many, many triggers this book has if you’re a sensitive reader you might want to pass or check the author’s website for further details. The story has angsty moments, twists & turns you don’t see coming but most importantly it ends with a HEA.❤️ Is it worth the credit? Yes, “Kitty” it’s sooo worth it!💋 Can’t wait for book2❣️

Dante!

This book is super spicy and the audio version is excellent. I really loved the two narrators - they did a great job with the voices and really brought the characters to life. They made me blush a few times! Dante and Kat have great chemistry and their banter throughout the book is perfect. Dante makes a couple of bad decisions when it comes to Kat, but he does eventually redeem himself.

Love it

Love every single word. The story plot and narrators were amazing. They have spoiled future books without having a male and female narrators. His voice gives me tingles every time he narrated. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

They almost lost me

There was so much sex and not enough story for so long I almost gave up. The spicy scenes were great but not enough to hold my attention for too much longer. If it weren’t for Elana Wolfe/ Andi Arndt and Tor Tom I would have stopped much sooner and boy I’m glad I didn’t. Once the actual story part of this book started I was hooked. There were parts left out that I kinda wish wasn’t skipped over but not enough to make me feel lost. Overall great book and I really want Lorenzos story next even though I know it’s book 3 idc I wanna listen to it next.
