Billionaire Playboy's Bargain: A Year of Marriage, a Lifetime of Secrets

Brady Shaw
is the sole heir to a billion-dollar oil empire in Texas. However, he has no desire to take over the family business. He’s too busy pandering in women, booze, and all of life’s other temptations. When his father shuts down the flow of money, Brady is presented with an ultimatum: marry and produce a grandchild within a year, or spend the remainder of his life like the rest of the world—poor as fuck.

Dana Sommer is a hard-working college student down on her luck. After losing her scholarship due to budget cuts, she now must find a way to, not only pay her tuitions, but also get her hands on $50,000 to settle her brother’s gambling debt, or she could lose the only family she has left. To resolve her impasse, she answers a Craigslist ad with a very unusual offer that could solve all her problems—marry a rich, spoiled playboy for one year and bear his child. The reward? Half a million dollars.

Their blatant disregard for how infertility really is

These people never have had to go through infertility. if they have then they didn't stop to think about how they felt when diagnosed and pursuing treatment! Most of us who have despise the trying to hard bulls***, cause that's what it is bulls***. We here all of the ridiculous things that were brought up in here and if you are truly infertile and not impatient those babies are called miracles for a reason. Simply put they're an act of God. Those of us who were told it would be impossible were well aware that it was a pipe dream to end up accidentally, one in a million pregnant.
The story was way to long and didn't have the backbone to carry it. I was so disappointed also because when you're choosing an pregnancy romance you expect the heroine to be pregnant for more than 10 minutes out of the whole book. The title itself is misleading. I don't know how they got published. My mom is a published author through Avon books so I do know a lot about what they look for. My mom's first book was published out the "slush pile", the books that didn't have agents. They hadn't published from the slush pile in over a decade but she gripped their attention and never let it wayne. This story just doesn't do that, which is so disheartening. Maybe next time.
