Great as a stand-alone
I have not read any of the Cloverleigh Farms books so I was worried I would be clueless about the characters from earlier books but it did not make the enjoyment any less. It did make me curious to read the other books eventually!
This is an age gap, single dad, grumpy sunshine story. It was romantic and spicy and I loved it.
This is my first time hearing Kirsten Leigh narrate. She has a very sweet voice which was perfect for Winnie. This is my new favorite Stephen Dexter narration! He is so good!

Dex and Winnie
This story was very cute in that both Winnie and Dex weren't looking for Love. Each one had their reasons and tried to ignore each other, even though Dex moved in next door to Winnie. His two daughters Hallie and Luna are absolutely precious and actually help to break the ice between them.
There's several funny moments, but also some heartbreaking one's too.

PHENOM audio. Stephen Dexter fits the character Dex SO WELL. His daughters were hilarious. Sometimes humor doesn't translate well in audios, but wow it blew me away. cannot recommend this enough!

Exactly the book you need!
Who knew I needed Daddy Stephen Dexter in my life? Oh yeah basically everyone. He played a grumpy, single dad so good. He was absolute perfection with his resting grump face. I love that swears too much, that he loves his girls so much and that he likes to be in control in the bedroom.
Winnie is little Frannie all over again. She is just absolute joy and happiness in everything. She loves to love. What of us romance readers doesn’t fall in love all the time?
Stars of the book were Hallie and Luna the little girls and their dialogue were so funny. I laughed so much when they would talk about their dad while he was sleeping.
The intimate times were so hot. I’m telling you if you don’t love Melanie Harlow then you have no soul.
Also Kirsten Leigh it has been too long since I’ve heard you in my ears and I missed you. You were perfect for Winnie.
