Publisher's summary

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. But Jason Trapp is losing his taste for it. For six months, his personal crusade has taken him around the world, mopping up the last of the Bloody Monday conspirators. There's only one left, and after the crooked financier Emmanuel Alstyne meets his maker, Trapp's debt will be paid in full. He vows he's done with the business of death. Unfortunately, it isn't done with him.

After a simple kill mission goes sideways in Macau, leaving a CIA spy kidnapped, half a dozen Chinese agents dead, and America's satellites burning in the skies, Trapp is propelled back into the game. Eliza Ikeda was taken on his watch, and he's determined to get her back–no matter the cost. The problem is, he has no idea who took her, why, or what they plan to do next. Trapp knows he's being played. And with the world's only two superpowers hurtling toward the precipice of war, time is running out....

Retirement will have to wait. Trapp is back in action. And this time, it's personal.

Fans of Ryan, Reacher, and Bourne will love betrayed CIA Operative Jason Trapp, who stars in a pulse-pounding revenge thriller that threatens to be 2019's breakout hit.

Great storyline with a lot of potential truth.

Gave enough detail without going overboard. A good take on current world politics and conditions.

Great story line

False flag is just a great story. I can imagine the story line actually happening in our world today.
Jack Slater reminds me of Vince Flynn. Can’t wait for the next book.

In today’s world the story was believable.

Enjoyed the human side of the main character. In the current world with major events happening behind closed doors it’s not easy to stay calm. To see the big picture when parties at all sides are pushing and pulling you into a fight. This book gives us a look at characters who keep their emotions and heads. Adults taking control.

Great series, great installment

Awesome sit-on-the-edge of your seat action, military heroes rush in, global confusion caused by North Korea. What's not to love?

Captivating

I found the characters and plot compelling, the narrator engaging, and the overall experience leaving me wanting more. The author chooses such vivid verbs throughout this series, listeners are immersed in the scenes.

Good story well executed

My second Trapp audiobook. Quite good although the reader can be monotonic and there is more repetition and self questioning than I might prefer. Looking forward to the next one
