Sunny, sexy story for a stormy day!
It’s pouring rain here and this cover caught my eye. What a perfect snackable story to listen to on my morning workout and coffee. I want more from this author!

Lovely
This was a lovely novella to get me through my commute. Cute story of unrequited love that was not so unrequited. Good writing, the story didn't drag on too much and was not overly angsty. Romantic, sexy, and the boy got the boy. Everything I wanted/needed.

I’m a sucker for love stories
I enjoyed how there was a 10 year gap from when he went home to see everyone and how things changed. It was fate going home for the wedding. I’m a sucker for a love story.

It was smooth going at a fast pace...
But it was good amd it all made sense. I lived it, I felt it, I understand it and damn if it doesn't make you want to believe that thi gs can pan out great for all of us. It rare for me to listen to a short story and not poke holes, but this had none. It was all fleshed out and condensed to that point that you could follow and feel as if this all coyld happen the way the author said it happened. I loved it. The best is, even though there is a love story... the author had the nerve to show family love, what best friend love looks like, what unrequited love looks like, what new love looks like, and what a tee pee splash of high school feelings into adulthood can turn into, if your lucky. Loved it.

Absolutely wonderful
I didn’t expect this to be such a great audiobook. I thought it was fun, well written, nicely paste and just the right amount of story, emotion, and some steamy scenes.
It was delightful. I’m actually going to look for other titles by this author and narrator.

When a novella should be a full length novel!
I’m going to keep this short, just grab this and listen!
Absolutely loved this novella by Sydney Smyth and oh how I wished it was it was a full length novel.
I thought it was a cute story when it comes to a bit of a high school crush. I know you’re probably thinking how I rated a novella a 5 star. It’s simple, I just loved it so much even if it did leave me wanting more.
Teddy is a favorite narrator, hands down a great pick for this read!

Fun, quick, complete!
4.5 stars — OK, I am officially a fan of audio novellas!! Especially when they’re part of a subscription service. They’re like little romance snacks. I mean, this is my first one, but I’m going to blanket statement that shiznit.
Teddy Hamilton was delightful as always. And jesus, his Will voice? SWOON.
Cooper was pretty cool, though he could be a bit self-absorbed…that was really my only negative about the story. Will was equally adorable, though we only get Cooper’s POV.
The secondary characters were fantastic and gave me plenty of laughing moments.
Yeah, super tiny review, but what can I say? It was fun, it was quick but it didn’t feel incomplete.
