Eight years ago I fell into a secret summer fling with my best friend’s little sister before our lives went in different directions. Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. Great until second half
I was really into this book during the first half, where the author should have concluded. At that point I would have given the book four or five stars. The second half was too long and bogged down in too many things going on and much of things irrelevant. There was just too much useless stuff which made the second half so boring. That is when I had to drop down to three stars. I did like it that the villains were justly punished. This author has a tendency to forgive horrible people. Thankfully she did not dish out forgiveness for the villains in this book. She shot them down with a vengeance - totally justified.
The virtual voice was better than than usual, but still needs improvement.
