Holland Davis is a pastor/teacher, a worship leader, singer/songwriter, speaker, author and has served in ministry for nearly 50 years. He is the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel San Clemente. Holland has written and co-written over 130 songs that are currently tracked by C.C.L.I. and are sung in churches around the world. His most popular songs include: Let It Rise, I Will Stand, Who Is Like The Lord, I Surrender, Healing Word and More Of You. Holland has recorded worship music albums and singles for Maranatha! Music, Word Music, Rolltop Music, Vineyard Music, Worshipsong, Inc. and Calvary Chapel Music and is currently a published writer with Universal Music. He has had the privilege of leading worship with such Christian leaders as: Chuck Smith, David Rosales, Mike MacIntosh, Skip Heitzig, Don McClure, Sheila Walsh, Dennis Rainey, Franklin Graham, Jon Courson, Miles McPherson, Jerry Falwell and Raul Ries. Holland has held worship concerts and music ministry outreaches in the UK, Germany, Mexico and across the United States. Holland graduated from the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa School of Ministry with a 2 year certificate in Biblical Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science from National University. He was awarded a gold album for the Top 25 Praise Songs and a Multi-platinum album for WOW Blue featuring Let It Rise. In 2007 he was awarded an ASCAP award for the Most Performed Songs of 2006 for Let It Rise which went to # 3 in the nation as recorded by Big Daddy Weave. Holland and his wife Roxie live in South Orange County, CA and have three children and four grand children. To press on towards the high calling of knowing Jesus and to be faithful as a husband, father, pastor and friend will always be his greatest achievement!
