Ed was born in San Jose, California, right in the middle of Silicon Valley. Growing up there, he developed a strong interest in technology and business. After finishing high school, he served in the US Army for three years. His role was a Military Musician and he was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. When Ed finished his time in the army, he went to college at Cabrillo Community College in Aptos, California. Here, he earned an Associate degree in Computer Science. Afterwards, he went to San Jose State University, where he got his Bachelor's degree in Business Operations. Ed loved learning so much that he went back to Cabrillo College to teach. He was a part-time teacher for six years and a full-time teacher for another two years. Then, he decided to move his family to Oregon to start a new business. For the next 15 years, Ed specialized in trade show marketing, becoming an expert in this area. In 2007, he and his wife, Kay, started a company called Zenith Exhibits, Inc. Their goal was to help small businesses across the US with affordable marketing solutions. In 2016, Ed and Kay decided to move to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to enjoy their semi-retirement years. But Ed wasn't ready to completely slow down. He started offering voice-over services through Zenith Exhibits and began narrating books for Amazon. Then, in 2022, Ed started writing a book to pair with his Business Buffet Podcast, aiming to help small business owners navigate the often challenging business world. Ed also gives back to his community. He works with several non-profit organizations and helps veterans who are dealing with PTSD. In his spare time, Ed creates podcasts for clients all over the US. When he's not working, he loves spending time with his wife of over 32 years and their two Golden Retrievers.
