Publisher's summary
Originally intended to be Tilla’s second, Razar had made one of those famous changes at the last minute that he was well known for. Zoop ended up in charge of the first junior fleet science ship. No one had been told that the ship existed but if they ran into trouble, they had what they needed to call in help from other ships in either fleet.
Their mission would be to check out our planet that was said to be inhabitable. It would be their job to determine what was required to make this place livable And to find out what the life forms present were and if any of them should be saved.
It seemed to Zoop that this was a job for a more experienced captain. It didn't matter what he thought the mission was his and he only hoped that he could complete it.
