Moments before his untimely demise, Felix was snatched from earth and thrust into a magical world known only as "The Continent". Possibly it's not to save a pair of drowning girls, not go 'viral' on social media and certainly not to let the local police take your passport, trapping you on a small 'party' island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. But Steve isn't the average guy, he's ex-military, ex-enforcer and ex-human. He's a one man nanite fuelled nightmare for those that cross the line, and he's decided that its time to clean up his act. He's going to make up for the things he's done, and save 'the little guys'.

But survive he does, only to leave the dungeon and discover that while he experienced several hellish months in the dungeon, only half a day passed on Earth. Randidly's capabilities are now more than enough to help build a small enclave of survivors, but that doesn't mean balancing his sense of responsibility against the plots of an unfriendly town will be easy.

Story
When the cultivators came to Earth, they destroyed our entire civilization in a matter of hours. Armies fell, cities burned, and that was before the moon turned red and filled our world with monsters. Now, over a decade later, what's left of humanity slaves under the heels of our Qi-infused masters. The luckiest of us might even become one of them, they say—if we serve the Dynasty well enough and harness the power of Qi. But I want none of that. I'm sick of serving, and I want nothing to do with their world. Instead, I want them to pay for what they did to mine.

That's perfect, because he's the only one of his kind: a wandering warrior, without control of his destination, tossed between universes by gods who've failed to tell him why. James is the lone Judge on a new world in need of someone to balance the scales. He isn't afraid to do so with extreme prejudice. Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

Publisher's summary
To survive, Connor Magnuson must become a man with no equal.
The path ahead is a deadly one. His end of the bargains he made to get this far have come due, and his debts take him back to a homeland he's been trying to forget. Kirkwall is an island of ancient secrets, and the magic in its soil will topple empires if he doesn't get to it first.
His legend has begun to spread through the pubs, and others begin taking credit. Imposters pop up along the coast, and they threaten to undermine everything he has worked for. The deadliest army in history gathers in the south, stronger every day, and they've set their sights on him. The tides of this world will shift at any moment, and Connor is pushed to his limits. To protect what's his, he's forced to unleash the raw power that will consume him if he isn't careful.
Enslaved dragons. A dying goddess. A path to immortality—or an early grave. Magic always comes at a cost, and this time, Connor doesn't know if it's one he can pay.

Story
In the centuries since rising up against a cruel, twisted dynasty, the Seven Cities have done much to move past their horrid histories, the memories of ancient monarchs who once fed on the life and blood of their own people. Those with a talent for magic are no longer hounded and slain. The lands beyond the Cities are safe, spared the atrocities the Alescuans once wrought upon them. For 300 years, there has been peace. Then Eska de Caraval, head of the prestigious Firenzia Company, finds herself framed for murder.

Tala had to fight tooth and nail in the Magic Academy to forge a path to power that was her own. She knows it’s her duty to use that power to serve humanity, defending them against the creatures of the untamable wilds. However, she skipped a few steps in her education, like apprenticing to someone who actually knows what they’re doing. Very good!
Only one complaint but easy enough to ignore the narrator does a great job but his female voices leave alot to be desired but not to bad that you can't just enjoy the book.

Yet another great book in this series
The plot keeps getting better! I thought there were only going to be 3 books in the series when I first started it, but there's so much more left to cover. Character development keeps getting better too

epic!
I have enjoyed each of the wraith blade books, but this 1 in particular has some pretty awesome events taking place, as well as the potential for unlimited growth for the Connor! Not only that, but apparently a LOT of chaos will be headed his way! 😲😀😁

Been waiting for this release for a year.
The desible changes in character voices is my only issue. It leaves you rushing for the volume.
Other than that the story is enthrawling. Action packed with minimum self absorbtion and whining as the characters evolve. A good balance of what made them who they are and the trials that make them who they'll be.

The storyline. MC and world development was well done.
The Wraith King is the embodiment of how death changes you lol. Didn’t really care for the limited perspective of the Wraith King. Quinn’s father was a little over the top in a cruel self obsessed sort of way.

Good story, subpar narration
The story was fine, but the narrator and his choice of voices was annoying. Whether it was his voice for strenuous activity or his droning female sniveling “accent” it was a slog to listen to.

Excellent narrator! Brought a fabled book to life like watching tv. Wraith Blade, Wraith Storm and Wraith Forged.
Love the series and the narrator. The 3 books are good alone but when narrated by this person…forgot his name, placed this series to a new level. There’s excitement, sorry, and maniacal people. Can’t wait to get book 4. There is a book 4 isn’t it.

overdone
The story itself is overly wordy. The performance is farcical. The heros never actually suffer any consequence; everything works out just fine: everytime.
3 books in, and I will be stopping there. What began as an interesting concept has shown itself to be predictable and annoying.
