great book

This is a helpful book for anyone feeling stuck to their screens. It teaches how too much screen time can mess with your feelings and thoughts, and gives easy tips to use your devices less. The book shows why taking breaks from the digital world is really good for you, and how to do it without missing out. Finding Balance

The best chapter for me was "Finding Balance." After a recent transition to a remote job with more screen time, I've noticed some negative attributes of more screen time, like the inability to feel like I can truly detach from work. The finding balance section gave me some great ideas for how to move forward! I did notice that the conclusion chapter didn't have any content included, but otherwise, it was a decent book!

Navigating mental health in the digital age

This audiobook explores the many pros and cons of the digital world that we live in today and how to not only navigate it, but hot to harness it to improve your life.

Most people are overloaded with mindless consumption, but it is important to be mindful about what you are consuming, when, and how often you are consuming it.

I like that the author paints a neutral stance on the digital landscape, siting that it isn't inherently good or bad, it is a simply a tool for us to use to either enhance our lives or make it worse.

It goes into different strategies you can use to achieve better mental health through, different softwares you can use, having dedicated spaces and times for no screen usage etc. etc.

Great book to listen to if you spend most of your waking hours on a screen and are looking for ways to improve your overall well-being.

Helps you introspect

We've all probably gotten to a point where we wanted to leave one social media platform or the other. This book will help you truly think about what was happening and how digital consumption is affecting you. How much content can you consume a day without harming yourself? That's the question you'll get to ask and then you'll be able to make an informed choice that's good for you. I really enjoyed this book.
