Publisher's summary

Everything was peaceful in Amarantha, until the Oracle rode into town.

When the woman delivers a dark message of destruction and doom, demons tear into the street, and the city dissolves into chaos.

Predictably, all signs point to me, the mortal Prince of Darkness.

My happy life as a fleshy mortal had been going marvelously. Clove and Jam are closer than ever, and our little party has expanded, taking in Caz and Ash, two women who are as strong as they are beautiful.

While taking on the challenges of school tests and venturing forth on my first adventure abroad, I must also push higher and higher in the Tower of Amarantha.

As if any of this were easy, a phantom from my past life has come to haunt me. Before anyone learns of my secret, I must kill a powerful demon that knows my true identity....

All without revealing my a thing to my faithful companions.

Well, nothing comes easy, they say - especially if I am the one who will doom us all.

(Contains unconventional relationships and adult situations.)

Another fun adventure from Atlas Kane!

I got this just today and finished it already. It has been a fun read and is an excellent companion to book one. Now I'll be eagerly awaiting the next in the series.

So stoked

I love this series. Read vol 2 as soon as I could and couldn’t wait for the audiobook. Erin Bateman does a fantastic job narrating. AK has a great series on going here. Plenty of action and the sequel definitely has more romantic relationship building than the previous vol. just like vol 1, there’s plenty of humor splashed throughout. I am looking forward to future volumes!

a fun series

this is a fun series and the narrator does a really good job. The MC is fun as he experiencing things of a mortal life. I laughed way too long at his first experience of a "head explosion" I am very much looking forward to the next book

Me Likey

Let's me start by saying i love competent, op mc. I also love a good non forced harem. This book is great because it actually has story with harem, and not made like a adult video were the story is a side not. Good series with decent sequels that'll keep you jonesen for the next.

I liked it.

I like the story and the overall direction it is taking. I feel Erin Batemen still has to do more work on her narration. Sometimes it seems like the she is narrating in one unbroken sentence. Also her, I guess tone(?), doesn't change much when it's internal monologue vs spoken interaction between characters and can be confusing. I think she is doing great and will be amazing with more work under her belt.

A MUST LISTEN

This is another great story. Once i started i just couldn't shut it off. Picked right up where the last book ended and i was hooked almost instantly. I was so into the book that when it ended i instantly wanted the next one to come out. The combat and story just keep building up and keeping me wanting more. Listen to this one now!

Love it

I absolutely love this series. The main character is a bad ass but doesn’t take himself to seriously and has plenty of laugh out loud moments. His companions are a ton of fun and so different from each other you really get to know and appreciate them. I thought the narrator did a great job as well. This series is a must to add to your list!
