Loved it!

I have to admit this was the first I jumped into the series with but I’m certainly going back to the beginning to read them all. I loved it, great narration and a wonderful story.

Laugh Out Loud Funny

I read this book last year and when I saw that is was going to audio I pre-oirdered it, This book just makes me happy and laugh, it has to be one of my favorite books by Ruby Dixon, the h is funny she knows what she wants and is not going to take any crap from anyone. The H honest sweet and has no problem showing it. Together they are a funny mess of hormones and laughs. The people who voice this book Mason Lloyd & Jillian Macie make it so much fun to listen to and so worth the credit.

Interesting and funny

This book was cute and funny. The innocence and taking thing’s literally made for an interesting listen. The length was perfect and the narrators did a good job with characters. Love Mason’s accent!

Sex on the brain

Can I just say that Mr. Lloyd is the best narrator for the hunky but honorable big blue Masaka aliens?
And Ms. Macie is great for vulnerable but precocious ladies discovering blue suede “devils” with features made for her pleasure. 😜 A longer story would have dampened the fun with too much baby focus,
but the novella length was perfect for hormone addled Naomi to clobber Inar like a wrecking ball. Minimum angst of an alien trying to read signals from a gal operating with a biological clock ticking time bomb. Maximum, exuberant sex.

so cute and hilarious

I couldn't stop laughing throughout this book and I loved all the characters. The fluff was chef's kiss. I loved Naomi and Ainar is just the sweetest himbo. perfect read if you need a pick me up.

If I wasn’t married, I’d take a blue alien also, please!

Mild salsa on the smut-scale rating and a quick read. If you’re looking for a book to have more as background noise with some hot tidbits thrown in here and there, then this is a good option. The male character is cute in a “boy next door” kind of way and it’s nice every now and then (IMO) to listen to something that doesn’t have some big epic drama tied to it.

Consent is a disease

This novella was just as sweet as all the others in the Risdaverse, but there was so much blethering about consent and so much beating around Naomi's bush. Enough with the flipping focus on female ‘comfort.’ It's just consent in sheep’s clothing! The main characters basically negotiated what was ‘okay’ with the mfc for TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Yes, they had sex. Yes, there was a side order of oral. But it wasn't as hot as it could've been. You’d think that a story about a big-schlonged, spur-packing alien being propositioned by a stranger to breed, would be hilarious, uninhibited, and absolutely 🔥 but this was bogged down by a bunch of feminist garbage: the mfc was obstinate about being a single mother (even with a kind, willing, able, mate waiting on the sidelines), then there was the whole “I don’t want a man" (even though I desperately need one to procreate 😂), then female head games, blah blah blah…I’ve read all but one book in this universe and this is my least favourite.
