Publisher's summary

Since aging out of the foster-care system and becoming a nurse, all I dreamed of was marrying a nice doctor and moving to a yellow two-story house in the suburbs.

So how did a dangerous biker-gang criminal end up handcuffed to my bed? And why did I agree to let that animal teach me how to...ahem...do things? Wicked things. In the very same bed he’s been handcuffed to in order to keep me safe?

Long story.

And it didn’t end well.

Now it’s time to marry my doctor fiancé and make all my former foster kid dreams come true. But who do I spot at the back of the church after I walk down the aisle to join with my perfect groom in marriage?

That dangerous MC. His ice-cold eyes are blazing with rage. And this time he’s totally unchained.

Gulp. It’s not such a nice day for a white wedding after all.

I’m not even one percent sure I’m going to get out of this one with my heart - or my soul - intact.

This is a good one

This is a good one, Excellent story, the main characters seldom broke character in terms of softening toward the end.

Spicyyyyyy

This is a bwwm/ Mc romance/ sun-dom. I usually avoid books with 1 narrator however Clementine did a wonderful job voicing the many characters.

good story

so the story is above average for mc romance. . kept me intrigued. narration was just mediocre her male voices.... were not that great. It didn't prevent me from listening though. You have to be a fan of alpha males or you'll be outraged.

Perfect!!!

Clementine Dove is brilliant as the narrator! And I’m so happy Theodora Taylor added that epilogue!! It didn’t make me happy thinking Jonathan had gotten away with his abuse. So, yay! Once again, the combination of Theodora Taylor and Clementine Dove is absolute perfection!!! Waylon and Amira were destined to be together! I’ve read the Grif/Red book and cannot wait for the Audible version! This book duet was on fire! Loved it!

Theodora Taylor!!

You are killing me with these book series!!! They are so good! Freaking amazing! This story had it all. Wow the characters past what happened to them in their past. Fighting for love and trust. Every time I read one of your books I’m like this is my favorite book. Then I read different one of your books and I’m like no this book my favorite. I’m so confused I can’t just pick one! More please 👍🏾👏🏾🫶🏾💕💕🙌🏾

Wow!!!

The narrator was excellent. She held her own. One morale of the story is don't judge a book by it's cover.

Ok

The storyline was okay; I can’t imagine anyone having total domination over every aspect of my life, that would be rough. Narrator did a okay job with narration; would be better in duet with one of the many male narrators out there.

Very good read/listen

Waylon and Amira are definitely my new favorite couple. I’m curious about why the author didn’t introduce Waylon and Hades in the Very Bad Fairgoods trilogy but overlapped with the Russians. Either way it was still a good story. Definitely should have been one book but can’t wait to read what this author has next.

Not her best work.

I like book 1 but book 2 was just a Jamestown Stockholm syndrome romance. I didn't feel any romantic chemistry between them.

however if this was a pure thriller it would been a solid 4 stars. the was a fun and enjoyable listen hands down but I can't get over the way it ended. it felt very flat for a romance.

and as usual, clementine dove was amazing as narrator.

Narration was disappointing

The story was short but good. The book describes the heroine as a black woman, so it isn't enjoyable to hear the narration of her character by what sounds to be a non-Black narrator.
