Yes! Loved it!!

Cass is a foul mouth Goddess with a heart of gold. This book has Vamps, Fae, Demi Gods and shifters! Cass definitely shows growth as she steps into her role and will find out many hidden truths. Has Spice and story!! A super fun read or listen!

Young adult with a porn twist

More of a young adult /juvenile porn plot, don't try to take it to seriously and you'll be entertained.

the worst FMC

this storyline would have probably been good if the FMC wasn't so immature, annoying, & irritating. how the FMC was written made listening to the complete set almost unbearable. she completely came off as a spoiled, entitled, brat instead of as a b@d@ss weapon.

A wild, fun, and sexy ride!

This is the second set of books I have listened to by Meg XueMei X. I was very happy to see the set as this saves tons of $.
As with the other books, I really enjoyed War of the Gods. Meg XueMei X's female characters are never meek, needy, or damsels in distress. I love that about her books.
Let me first write about the story. I loved it! Mythology, fantasy, and reality are weaved together to create an exciting world. I thoroughly enjoyed Cass's take on the Greek Gods. I have always wondered why no one ever called them as they are. Well, she did.
We started book 1 with an obnoxious, immature, juvenile Cass. This was to be expected due to her circumstances. Through the rest of the books, Cass grew up. Still a bit obnoxious but true to herself, her mates, and her commitments. She takes responsibility and ownership while enjoying her cakes. I love cake! Her genuine joy for the smallest of things made her personable.
This is a reverse harem book. Book 1 and 2 only had minimal sexual contact. Book 4 had the most. Even then, this was pretty mild compared to other similar books.
Narration: Victoria Mei also narrated XueMei X's other books. I read how displeased some listeners were with her. I disagree. Victoria Mei personified Cass perfectly. Combined with how Cass is and Victoria's own inflections, it was perfect. Now, I can certainly see how annoying she sounded several times. But, that is exactly how she's supposed to be.
Victoria did a superb job with the male narration. I never questioned who was who. And her British accent is... sexy!
Definitely a keeper!

I actually liked the story itself. The narrator did an awesome job considering that she was trying to convey so many different voices. However, the main characters behavior was atrocious. If I hadn’t gotten the entire series as a one credit buy, I wouldn’t have bought the second book based on the MC’s behavior alone. She was just beyond crass

This was a good listen, I enjoyed the story and the narrator.. lots of twists and the characters are great….

War of Gods

The story was excellent . It was thrilling , explaining a little bit of Greek mythology . I loved the heroine challenges and her slow discovery of her true self.

Awesome complete series

This gives you all good things the progression of the main heroine is great. She is an alpha girl with all her alpha males. The story has a few moments where you might want to stop but the ending is so worth the wait. It is all tied up with an awesome plot unveiling.

Irritating

The story was good and it was a nice change with the Gods being the bad guys or something like that but the characters got on my nerves. The female MC was raise in a cage. Was rescued but seem to know a lot about a world see never actually saw. The was bratty but the author tried to make the resemble strong. It didn’t. She never listened or learned. The character never grew or evolved just keep being bratty, unrealistic, and wanting cakes. The male MC were weak. The seem to be strong in war but they allow this female MC with no life experience call all the shot and bent to her well whether it made sense or not. They never challenged her to be better. Disappointing and I wish I could get my money back. I tried to read or listen to all four books but I couldn’t take anymore and quit midway in book four. Not caring if they survived the battle or not. Not longer interested in the outcome.
