Story
It’s the summer of ’77 in New York City, and the only thing more unnerving than the scorching heatwave is the rampant murder, leaving washed-up homicide detective Richard Dietrich on edge. When Dietrich investigates a brutal mob hit the brass doesn’t want him to solve, he goes from phoning it in to getting in over his head. Caught up in a mysterious second homicide with an even more perplexing perpetrator, Dietrich starts to second guess his instincts—and his memory—as he searches for answers at the bottom of a bottle.

The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. In spite of its battlefield specificity, The Art of War has found new life in the modern age, with leaders in fields as wide and far-reaching as world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words.

This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... We hope your new audio bible will go everywhere with you and be a blessing for years to come.

Story
Raised by a widowed mother, Jill Reed has come a long way from her difficult youth. But while she may not have had money, Jill never doubted she was rich in love. Her mother, Connie, made Jill the center of her world. Now, even though she has a young family of her own, it’s Jill’s turn to care for her ailing mother. When early dementia begins to set in, Connie starts talking about Jill’s “other life.” Jill assumes it’s just rambling confusion. Still, Connie’s stories about Jill’s childhood, and her father’s early death, never quite added up.

Story
Having addictive genes can make life tricky for anyone. Being a major Hip-Hop artist– a self proclaimed rock star, being married to a woman whose investment firm made the Forbes list– while battling an ongoing struggle with pills, alcohol, and various allegations and attacks in the media– is downright exhausting. Devin does everything in his power to try to keep it together for the sake of his family, but often he falls short in his ambitious efforts. Friendship
Friendships are a dime and a dozen. Money associated with friends is sometimes a pitfall. The storyline was amazing and educational.

A wonderful story of sisterhood
Man problems, kid problems, health problems, money problems. You name the issue, at least one of the ladies in this book has it. But despite their individual troubles, they are there for each other. Ruth and her friends take a leap of faith together to take steps for a better life. They have to trust in the Lord, trust each other and trust their own judgment. Hard to do, but so worth it in the end.
The AI narrator wasn't awful but it's evident at times a person is not reading the book.

Amazing story of togetherness
While i strongly disliked the computer reading of this. The story was amazing by not using a real person you lose some of the moments where a true narrators
would have made it better.
