TO: Alex Vega
FROM: Emilia Stiles

SUBJECT: Hello

Dear Mr. Vega,

I felt it necessary to follow up on today’s meeting, since we weren’t able to speak candidly in front of your son.

I was shocked to discover that you are Ryder’s dad. Given that your ex-wife will be out of the country for a while and you are currently his primary caregiver, I’m sure you understand why we need to establish boundaries and etiquette. I think it would be best if we just pretend that we met in person for the first time today.

Your son is a very bright (flirtatious and talkative) student and since his education is a top priority for both of us, I hope I can count on you to respectfully refrain from grinning at me, using that sexy tone of voice, and undressing me with your annoyingly beautiful brown eyes if we should happen to interact with each other again in the future.

Thanks so much,
Miss Stiles

TO: Emilia Stiles
FROM: Alex Vega

SUBJECT: Re: Well, hello again…

Dear Miss Stiles,

Great to hear from you. My son’s education is indeed a top priority. As such, I respectfully agree to refrain from doing all of the aforementioned things.

However, I can’t promise to stop thinking about that kiss at the bar this summer. I’ve been thinking about it for the past month. It’s interesting how humorless and uptight you are about my son’s totally awesome personality, given that I have personally witnessed just how flirtatious and talkative you yourself can be when mildly intoxicated.

You’re so welcome,
Alex

P.S. I volunteered to be a chaperone for your next field trip. See you then.

* Narrated by Zachary Webber and Mackenzie Cartwright, with special guest appearances by Jason Clarke and Teddy Hamilton.

** This audiobook is dual narration, with portions that are duet-style.

Romantic Comedy Perfection

Troublemaker is romantic comedy perfection! It really is. I’m still fairly new to Kayley Loring’s books, but I have quickly fallen in love with her writing and she is now one of my favorite authors. Her writing is incredibly heartfelt and touching but also filled with humor and witty banter. I love how the relationship between Alex and Emilia progresses, from their initial meeting to the moment they realize that she is his son Ryder’s teacher. It is a bit of a slow burn (but not too slow) as they navigate their growing feelings for each other despite their hesitancy to give in to them. It’s also hot and steamy with lots of fun, sexy texting and e-mails between them. And I can’t begin to describe the full extent of Ryder’s adorableness. He’s so dang cute and funny (and he loves snacks, fart jokes and meddling in his dad’s love life). It’s impossible not to fall in love with each one of these characters.

I love the incredible narration of this book, too. Mackenzie Cartwright and Zachary Webber lend the perfect voices to Alex and Emilia. They sound amazing and have such great chemistry together. They are both so talented and give such great voices to the other characters too, especially Ryder.

I just can’t say enough about how much I loved Troublemaker. It’s sweet, sexy and fun from beginning to end. To quote Emilia, you’re always going to find something new and wonderful in a book. That couldn’t more true than in Troublemaker.

Female lead has the wrong voice for the part.

Story is cute! Make lead Makes the story! He’s sooo great at his craft, you are absolutely taken with him, and want him for yourself.
The female lead sound like she’s in her 50’s. Yet is supposed to be this young cute creative fun elementary school teacher. And every time she talks, you’re like. Wait what? No.. this sounds like it should be his aunt.
That aside.. book was good!
I didn’t like the epilogues.
But I loved the author at the end!!

Amazing

I am still filled with happy emotions from listening to this book and I finished it yesterday. Wowza it's so good. Ok first, the characters in this series are so loveable and I have really enjoyed every book in this series but this author knocked it out of the park with this one. This is book 3 and we have Alex Vega and his hotness falling for his sons teacher. They meet in a bar and for reasons out of his control Alex must leave before things get to go any further. Weeks later he discovers the woman haunting him in his dreams is his sons teacher.

The chemistry between these two is off the charts and they are fun and flirty and I fell in love with them from the beginning. I loved Ryder and how he plays a major role in this book as well as all our favorite characters from the first two books. The tight friendship Alex, Nico, and Shane have is the kind we all wish for as well as Emilia's bestie Franklin. We get Granny Todd back in the mix giving her advice and learn how to fall in love all over again with these two. I loved everything about this book.

Now that was enough for you to buy the book but now throw in the fact that Zachary Webber and Mackenzie Cartwright are the narrators, it is a must have to listen to. We also get the aural pleasure of Jason Clarke and Teddy Hamilton doing some epilogues. Win, win.

I love everything this author has written and she has fast tracked her way to the top of my favorite authors list. If you haven't read of listened to her work I really hope you will.

A star among beautiful audio gems❤️

Every so often, an audio book comes into my world and it just stays. It’s a book that I know I will listen to over and over again, especially when I’m in need a smile.

I honestly believe it’s some mystical combination of great writing and awesome narration that made this book so endearing for me. Whatever it is, that magic combination, this book had it. Had it all! A relatable heroine and a unicorn of a hero that one just hopes actually exists in this world.

Looking for a reason to escape and smile... then download this book...don’t hesitate! I’m about to start it again...because I’m just not ready to let this feeling go.

Steamy Single Dad Rom Com

I just finished and I'm on an emotional high. Kayley Loring has delivered another great rom-com! There are so many hysterical moments and quick jabs that I had a smile on my face the entire time.

Alejandro Vega, Alex, is a single father who meets Emma while at a nightclub. They have a passionately hot moment but circumstances distract them and they don't get the opportunity to exchange info.

Emma, actually Emilia Stiles, has just left a long term relationship and is starting over in a new city with a new job. Imagine her surprise when she calls a parent-teacher meeting to discuss her student, Ryder, and in walks Alex.

The chemistry between Alex and Emilia is palpable, off the charts hot. The witty banter and sexting are hilarious. This was such a fun story with so many great moments that adding it to my favorite list is a no brainer.

The narration is sublime. Zachary Webber sounds heavenly. I loved his kid voice, it made me want to give him a big hug. Mackenzie Cartwright, wow! I absolutely love her voice, her comedic timing, and again, her kid voice is awesome. Though short, we're treated to very touching guest appearances by Jason Clarke and Teddy Hamilton.

I absolutely loved this story. It was fun, fast-paced, and left me feeling so happy. It is an absolute must-listen!

Single Dad.....yes please

This was a good single dad rom-com. Ryder is the hilarious kid, Alex is the Director dad that falls for Emilia (Ryder's teacher). It has been a while that there has been a story that I read that made me laugh out loud throughout the book.

Awesome HEA and Zachary Webber

Zachary Webber made this story so great. His voice, the way he tells the story.. so great. Mackenzie Cartwright was new for me but she sounds like a 2nd grade teacher so well done.. the story doesn’t necessarily follow a typical pattern but that is what I like about it. O and again Zachary Webber. 🤤
