Publisher's summary
Three prominent Americans debate the merits of unchecked immigration, national security, and civil rights. While it sounds like a contemporary, made-for-TV event, this confrontation takes place in 1799, with three of America's Founding Fathers as participants: Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, and Aaron Burr. Legendary radio dramatist Norman Corwin created this imagined discussion from the participants' actual writings - proving that when it comes to politics, some things never change.
An L.A. Theatre Works full cast performance featuring:
JD Cullum as Aaron Burr
Gregory Harrison as Thomas Jefferson/Mr. Pendleton
Henri Lubatti as Pickering/others
Brian Tichnell as Alexander Hamilton/Barnaby
Directed by Alexis Jacknow

Story
It’s the summer of ’77 in New York City, and the only thing more unnerving than the scorching heatwave is the rampant murder, leaving washed-up homicide detective Richard Dietrich on edge. When Dietrich investigates a brutal mob hit the brass doesn’t want him to solve, he goes from phoning it in to getting in over his head. Caught up in a mysterious second homicide with an even more perplexing perpetrator, Dietrich starts to second guess his instincts—and his memory—as he searches for answers at the bottom of a bottle.

Story
The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. In spite of its battlefield specificity, The Art of War has found new life in the modern age, with leaders in fields as wide and far-reaching as world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words.

This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... We hope your new audio bible will go everywhere with you and be a blessing for years to come.

Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson. Before they were household names, these budding legends called Sue’s Nashville apartment—lovingly dubbed the “Boar’s Nest”—home. Sue’s place was an intimate staging ground where a new breed of singer-songwriters—wounded souls, wayward upstarts—would spur each other on to tap into something bigger, realer.

At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. Norman Corwin Hits another Home Run
This play is wonderful, If you have not listened to Norman Corwin you should he is one of the finest writters in the history of radio. you can trust that he is factual and not making things up for a political purposes. The Rivalry about the Lincoln Douglas debates is one of the best plays I have ever listened to, so give this one a try you will not be sorry.

When there was something of value being aired
Corwin was amazing. What I got from this was the same arguments were front and center with politicians in the 1830's as they are in the 2020's. We need statesmen and we have how ever many stooges there are in Washington on both sides of the aisle. But they have been there since 1776. And they were in London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Tokyo, Moscow, Beijing ad infinitum before then. And probably will be forever.
