Publisher's summary
Jimmy "Mack Truck" Simmons was elated upon being chosen for the Olympic Boxing Team a mere three weeks before his upcoming fight for the light heavyweight amateur championship.
Approximately three days before the fight, he was approached by a group of corrupt police officers known on the streets as The Brotherhood. They handed him an envelope containing $30,000 and a threatening note, urging him to throw the fight or face consequences.
The opponent he was up against happened to be the nephew of one of those officers, and a win over Jimmy Mack would secure the nephew's spot on the Olympic team. Jimmy Mack was unbeaten and was determined not to lose to someone he could easily defeat.
During the match, Jimmy scored a first-round knockout. As he was in his dressing room afterward, The Brotherhood barged in, attempting to arrest him for alleged disorderly conduct.
In a fierce confrontation, Jimmy Mack fought back and incapacitated three of the four officers before backup arrived. They inflicted severe injuries on him, necessitating his urgent hospitalization.
Afraid that Jimmy Mack might expose the truth, they waited until he was sedated and then subjected him to a brutal beating, putting him into a coma. Shockingly, the attending doctor callously recorded the incident, finding amusement in the horrific act.
Jimmy Mack emerged from his coma five years later, filled with a burning desire for revenge. He embarked on a relentless quest to locate and confront each individual responsible, delivering retribution swiftly and powerfully.

But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?
