Beautiful!
I have loved Renita D’Silva’s books but The War Child is now my all time favourite! What a beautifully written book❤️. I laughed, I was transported, and I cried both happy and sad tears. I experienced this book through audible and the story teller was perfect! Thank you for this lovely experience !

Story line was good
The story line was good however there was a lot of filler in this story (like the young boy that is always interrupting adults and answer for his charge). I enjoyed the last chapters of the book and wished this part of the book matured more… maybe there’ll be a continuation to see how mom and son begins their new relationship.
Overall a good book but please lessen the fillers.
