Publisher's summary

In Arimoor, an island nation cradled by the Celtic Sea, vampires, demons, and Nephilim dwell among unsuspecting humans.

Victorian orphan Violet has spent her entire life in the confines of the orphanage and the drudgery of the textile factory. She knows little of the outside world but dreams of the day she’ll turn twenty-one and win her freedom.

Violet’s familiar world shatters when a fire breaks out in the factory. She succumbs to the overwhelming heat and smoke, then awakens to a new and shocking reality – she has been turned into a vampire.

With the help of her sire, Lily, Violet slowly adjusts to her new supernatural life. They dwell within a magical forest, isolated and hiding from the mysterious Rabisu vampires, who have been hunting Lily for centuries. One day, Lily does not return from a trip to the capital city, Dorbridge, leaving Violet alone and frightened.

Cloaked in an invisibility glamour, Violet searches Dorbridge for her missing sire, to no avail. She sinks into profound despair, rarely leaving the forest and constantly sleeping. After a reclusive century, Violet is awakened by the sounds of an injured owl outside her cottage. Helping the creature stirs a spark within her – a will to live again.

Glamouring her appearance, she ventures into Dorbridge and finds the world has drastically changed. Violet encounters a young man at the university library who sees past her disguise and understands her true nature. She learns Casey is a Nephilim, with a mix of human and supernatural ancestry.

Through her budding friendship with Casey and introduction to his knowledgeable mother, Juno, Violet learns more about the modern world and its hidden beings. She resumes the search for her missing sire and forges new friendships.

While exploring the city, she meets Remi, a captivating Nephilim who awakens a passion she has never known. She also encounters an ancient and formidable vampire, Caine, who pulls her into the sinister web of the dangerous Rabisu vampires. Violet learns the Rabisu, led by the powerful matriarch, Agrat, are on a quest to enslave humanity.

When Violet and her companions confront Agrat, a battle erupts, and Remi is critically injured. Faced with a harrowing choice, Violet must decide quickly – transform Remi into a vampire without his consent or allow him to perish.

Forced to retreat to the Underworld, a mysterious realm ruled by the winged Archangel Samael, Violet and her friends face their deepest fears and discover the power hidden within themselves.

Will they rise to vanquish Agrat and save humanity, or fall to encroaching darkness?

In Arimoor, mystery, romance, and danger intertwine, forging a tale of ageless struggle and timeless love.
