Great lister

Very gripping. A real page turner and good till the end. Would listen to this author again.

Different

I must say I was a little confused in the beginning, but the book got going I couldn’t stop listening. A little different than story line and I liked that.

Starts slow but ends great

I stumbled upon this author and read the book before this and really liked the characters. I’ll be honest the first few chapters I was a little lost and I didn’t understand but once I got into it a great story unfolded.

Pretty dang good, but not great

I really enjoyed this book! Bought it as part of the 2 for 1 deal on Monday and had finished it by this morning. It was really good! I read and listen to a LOT of content from a variety of sources and am kind of a snob when it comes to 5-stars, but this one is a SOLID 4 stars. I was hooked very quickly by the story and the narrator was pretty good, too! However, it did lack the super-twisty-completely-unexpected ending I’ve come to expect from the author, and there was a bit more I would’ve liked from the narrator. But definitely not a bad way to spend a credit and 10 hours of my life!

Love me some secret society mystery

Rory is such a great character. In the first book and this one her quirks are mentioned. Now she is in the autism spectrum and it is so good to see a strong character with this diagnosis living her best life. The mystery in this one is so sinister and sad. So many lives touched with what can only be described as evil.

I love this author

He writes such smart stories. I think this is my 4th or 5th book by him and I can’t wait to get through more of them. Everything ties in so perfectly. I love Rory and how well her partner knows her loves her accepts her and understands her. I feel terrible for Gwen but following hardly ever gets us far. Overall 5 stars

Suspenseful

This series was very well thought out & written. I just happened to stumble on this writer in Audible Plus & I so glad I did I’m now a huge fan. If you are looking for a series to keep you thinking then this is the one you’re looking for. I’m ready for another book to this series of Rory & Lane you cant help but fall in love with them & their story

Good story and good performance!

I’m really digging this Rory series. This was a great book and I found myself listening more than normal.

Love this writer!

The way the stories build upon other stories, then they all come together is brilliant. I love the “cameos” and use of previous books’ characters. There are a lot of characters but the way the writer introduces them into the story is well done and doesn’t confuse the reader, it flows.

Kept Me Guessing

Great Psychological thriller that has you guessing until the end. The author has you engaged from the beginning. Just when you think you know “who done it”, you’re thrown for a loop!
