A light yet insightful self questioning story

Funnily enough i wasnt expecting such a light hearted and follow through story. I have read many practical books on finding my purpose and this has been one of the most inspiring, allowing me to question myself in the process of a fable. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to explore where they are at, why they may be there and just enjoy the story of a life and the signs in the offering. This book does make you think about the part you play in the bigger picture, and ultimately the choices that are yours. This will be a book i go back too when i need a rejuvenating view of a life - which is the ultimate review of an audio book from my perspective.

It's about me

My goal this year was to work more on me starting with consuming at least one book a month. The first book I read was one word by John Gordon, my second book is the seed by John Gordon. Talking about signs and being aware and open to receiving, this book for me is definitely a sign that it's my time to work on me. If you're struggling with vision or purpose, understanding why you're doing what you're doing, trying to figure out where you're going and when you'll get there, this is definitely a great read to help you become more clear on your purpose. Highly recommended in your journey of self development.

Great concept of finding ones purpose in life.

The principles in this book are interwoven with an interesting story line with similarities with the author's other books. this aids the reader to engegevwith the story without loding track of the principles being taught. the length of the books allow for engagement, application amd enjoyment without dragging out the story. Each book I have read so far from this author offered enjoyment with persuasion to move forward in my personal life.

Loved the book

Loved the book but missed hearing it in Jon’s voice. Great timing for me as I just had a discussion about remaining planted with my husband. Read all of Jon Gordon’s books. You will not regret it.

What a read. I'm sure 5 years from now I will give a big speech somewhere and talk about how this book helped me along the way. I'll start tomorrow. 🌳

Great listen

This was a great book about finding a way to plant yourself and find your “purpose” through the anecdote. Do yourself a favor and listen to this book. I listened to this as an included plus title though I’d pay $3-4 for it. It’s not a $10 book as it’s nothing new though the story drives this 5-star review.

Powerful Punch!

What did you love best about The Seed?

3 hours of inspiration. Wonderful story telling. Great food for thought. It confirmed my purpose for my life. If you are confused about life, listen to this. You may not find the answer on what to do with your life, BUT it will help you find contentment and a better attitude to make the most of where you are at NOW and strive for better things.

What other book might you compare The Seed to and why?

Purpose Driven Life compacted

What does Erik Synnestvedt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Time. I am a stay at home mom who focus is on developing the kids. So our car rides are when I can listen to the books that I want to get knowledge from. The voice was soothing.

Any additional comments?

I've listened to two of Jon Gordon's books this week and he's a great writer that uncomplicated things and brings our thinking back to common sense and simplicity. His positive attitude in his writings inspire you to be a better person.
