Her enemies have years of secrets that need to be buried, but can only be put to rest with Celine’s death. The king and sons do all they can to keep Celine protected and free from danger and false accusations. Luck, especially, wants her safe and happy. But he has worries of his own.

With Celine’s return, Luck struggles to find his place among the sibling circle he has been so sure of. He also isn’t in the clear with what happened on Ponderosa during Celine’s rescue. Being the adopted prince, second in line for the throne, there are people against him already. Now, they have even more reasons to put pressure on him and the king.

While Celine settles into her new life, her days are busy with princess lessons with her standoffish stepmom. Dance lessons with the well-known and handsome, Edward Steel. Public interviews with notorious journalist and fast friend, Lexis Lemon. Struggling to connect with her father and stepmom. Building relationships with her brothers. Trying not to fall for Prince Luck. Trying not to fall for Prince Luck’s nemesis, Vence Kenbrook. Memories of the life she forgot, coming back in waves.
Not everything in Celines new life is good. She has to endure a dramatic, irritating girl throwing herself at Luck every chance she gets.
He and Celine try to keep a familial relationship between them but it’s not so easy when other love interests, danger, family, enemies, threats and uncrossable lines are in the way.

When Celine’s welcome home ball finally arrives, she is ready to claim her identity, her place in her family and country, and give her heart to Luck. But when an unexpected announcement is made at the ball, her world is thrown into complete devastation.
