Awesome Story

This story pulls you in from the very first chapter and it’s hard to put it down.

Great start and I’m intrigued!

This series has been sitting in my library and I’m excited to start listening. “The Risk” is a suspenseful, thrilling and amazing start to the “Mindf**k” series.

I love synopsis for this whole story. The woman is out there taking vengeance on people that have wronged her and a man who’s the good guy FBI agent out there taking the bad guys down in the legal way. Since it’s the first book of five, this is all about setting the scene for Lana and Logan. The profiler not knowing he’s actually got the one he’s looking for is literally in his bed. Lana isn’t one of the bad guys, she takes care of the bad guys. There’s snippets of her history and I’m invested. I can’t wait for the next book.

Marie Hawkins and TJ Clark are new to me narrators and I’ve enjoyed listening to them bring Lana and Logan to life. They have both done a great job and I’m excited to continue with them narrating the rest of the series.

Great books, poor narration

I love these books. They are so well written and thought out. I was stoked to hear they came to audiobooks, but unfortunately it doesn’t hit the same way. The narrators sound like bad news anchors, almost satirical in their inflections. Everyone sounds the same. Either way, if you haven’t read these, do it. The storyline just gets better

Lana Frikkin Meyers!

I am unapologetically unendingly in love with this series! This is my 3rd re-read, but 1st time listening to the audiobooks. The narrators aren't my favorite, but I love this story so much I don't even care 🤣 this is my favorite series of all time! Lana Meyers is my EVERYTHING! I'd choose Lana over ever book character I've ever read about in my whole life! She is just perfect to me 🖤

This series tops my list

This series will always be one of my all time favorites. I love how raw it is. How heart wrenching it is. What an incredible character Lana is. Lana is one of those characters that stays true to her original self. She does grow and change throughout the series but she also is always her. She doesn't change so drastically that in the end she's a whole new character. I got the audiobooks after reading it the first time and I think I've re-listened at least 3 times in the last 6 months or so. I'll never get over this series.

For once a strong female heroine! And hot jealous FBI agent. Loved the narration to this series. The voices are spot on! I will definitely relisten to this series over and over again. Great job!

So good! Really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to finish the rest of the series. Did wish there was more chemistry, but at the same time it was still a good book. Great narrators too.
