Great story takes you away.

A joy to listen to
I always get excited when is see a new book from Annette Marie! Although I do wish this was from the perspective of the Crystal Druid, Saber was an interesting character and I’m excited to learn more about her. My favorite thing about the universe the books take place in is that the stories all tie together and I enjoy seeing familiar faces and seeing events from different perspectives though this one seems more removed from the others.

Great beginning
Honestly I wasn't going to start this spin off of the series, because I didn't like Zak's familiar, Lullikia. I'm so glad I did though. This is starting off as the best so far!

UGH!!!
I absolutely love the Guild Codex stories, they are my favorite and I've read all the books several times over. I love Annette Marie! She's amazing at building this world and very consistent throughout all the books.
This book was no different. It's amazing and captivating and I plowed through it; devouring it in a single day!! It has a little different feeling to it but I still very much enjoyed this book.
No spoilers but damn!!! Why did she have to leave me hanging like this at the end!!!! I'm dying!!!

Another great piece
I am a fan of Annette Marie’s work and the world she has crafted. This story expands further on her world but still ties to her previous work. Intriguing mystery, thrilling action, and heartbreaking tragedy combine beautifully in her latest novel leaving me wanting more.

Grips you by the hand for a thrilling ride!
Annette Marie has created a world of adventure. I never want the end of this world! I thought this was all about Zak, but wow, it is mostly about a new character and takes place after all the other books printed up to now. Maybe Zak will gain redemption. Maybe he will die. or Maybe he will continue to defy everything put against him.
But what is up with Sabre Rose?? WHAT A RIDE.
