A good conclusion to the series.

This is a good story that ties up all lose ends from the series nicely. I enjoyed it and did not have any problems with the narrarator that a small but incredibly vocal minority seemed to have. The key is that out of 136 reviews the nararrator still averages 4.3 stars so you do the math. Once again , I advise listening to the sample and coming to your own conclusion on the quality of the narraration. Still, worth a credit in my opinion.

Great end to the series.

Sad it's all over...

I loved reading and listening to these books. The only bad part was Zalasta's accent. The narrator brings a lot of humour to the story, which is key for any book by David Eddings. I particularly loved Bhlokw - he steals every scene!

Love the Trolls!

The Tamuli is a good series if you can get beyond the clumsy pronunciation of some words by the narrator - however, in this book I particularly loved the way he portrayed the Trolls - what fun! Favorite characters still appear, heroes wrestle with the bad guys and somehow succeed despite the odds - all the usual elements of this genre are there. I didn't want the story to end.

Always a fan of the series

I always love hearing these stories. The characters are great and the storyline keeps me going.

The bad guys folly

the bad guys kidnap the queen and her handmaid. Big mistake there. now the Troll gods, the child god, and worst of all the queens champion and husband Sparhawk, with his companions are not happy. Honestly I like how the troll gods think is a suitable form of punishment, but I'm a pyro. so where to they run and hide.

the thing I love the most about Shinning Ones is what I love here more. there is now points of view of eight different friends. each has there own tasks to do in order to save the queen and win the war of a forgotten god.

Also still loving the great team he did in secret with his wife Leah Eddings to make the characters more alive. this is a exciting conclusion to two trilogies that has a major twist that I enjoy greatly.

I really enjoyed listening to this. The story is captivating and very well thought out. The narration is great. Kevin Pariseau, the narrator, speaks clearly and is easy to listen too. He also does a fantastic job giving each character a unique voice so that they are easily distinguished when giving dialogue. All in all a wonderful experience and one that I look forward to reliving in the future.

My childhood

These series by David Eddings made up a good portion of my childhood, reading and rereading, now hearing them on Audible. This is a simple yet deep series that I love with all of my heart, and every time it ends, my heart breaks, because I won’t hear anything new from this writer again. Makes me a bit pensive and melancholy, but I’ll get over it. I hope to find other writers with decent, original thought again.
