Excellent is an understatement!

I loved that it spanned generations. The characters were very endearing , and the story wove many tales. The narrator was outstanding. I found myself thinking with an Irish accent, that's how good she was. The Irish expressions were so very interesting and fun! I would catch myself thinking about the story all the time and was always glad whrn I could finally sit down and listen. This is an amazing book. Enjoy!!!

I loved this storyline and he author’s way of ‘weaving the fabrics together’ to create yet again another fabulous tale!

Overall a good story.

I liked the story but the narrator had some trouble with American accents- especially the male characters.

Interesting story line

Enjoyed this one. The performance was great but agree with others reviews; the baby this and baby that was irritating.

Excellent read/listen

I absolutely went through the array of Emotion produced by Lucinda Riley's writing! Very well thought out using family history and family life experiences. These are the kind of stories I like to read that inter-twine our ancestors lives with our lives. What a great Mystery lies in between their lives and our lives, and how their lives impact our lives today in being who we are and what we can do with our life. It goes to show how we are all connected together all in a good way to help each other get where we're going today.
