Adrienne Kisner does it again!
A poignant and hilarious story of a teenage birder just trying to figure it all out. Kisner combines a social consciousness with an emotional coming of age story that is funny, warm, and optimistic. Laurel’s love for her grandmother was so relatable, and her frustration with the obstacles in her life were equally so. Adrienne Kisner’s talent for finding absurd humor in teenage pathos continues, after her wonderful debut, Dear Rachel Maddow! I look forward to reading her next book, Six Angry Girls!
