Publisher's summary
To the Pharisees, Jesus is a blasphemer. To the Roman authorities, he's a threat to their rule and order. But to the masses, he's a miraculous healer and a profound teacher.
In this third installment of The Chosen series, we see Jesus healing the sick, preaching the sermon on the Mount, feeding the 5,000, and raising the dead. We see his enemies growing ever more determined to silence him. And we see his very human disciples struggling with their own questions and concerns, believing in but not yet understanding their Messiah.
Based on the acclaimed TV series The Chosen, the most amazing story ever told—the life of Jesus—gets a fresh, new telling from New York Times best-selling author Jerry B. Jenkins.

Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson. Before they were household names, these budding legends called Sue’s Nashville apartment—lovingly dubbed the “Boar’s Nest”—home. I’m so glad for the books on this series, the movies are incredible but I love how the books fill in the missing gaps. It helps to understand what they are thinking and feeling, and why they are doing what they are doing. The narrator gives an excellent performance and truly captures the characters! Looking forward to more.

Incredible
I was waiting for so long for this to come out. I'm blind, so I haven't been able to watch The Chosen because it's not audio-described, and that is vital for me. So, I was thrilled when I realized the books were an exact narrative of the series.
I was particularly looking forward to this volume because a friend gave me a spoiler which I accepted, that Shula would be healed. When I read that scene, I cried like a baby because her doubts and fears mirror mine exactly. I was born blind, but that's the only difference. All I can say is that this really gave me hope for my healing. Thank you, Jerry, for writing this series as a book so people like myself can enjoy them without having to watch it. Having said that, I am hoping for audio description to be included in every season.
